Yesterday I got my first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine.

I was pretty emotional on the drive up and cried some happy tears.

Getting this vaccine gave me a sense of relief that I haven’t felt in a long time.

I feel hopeful for the future again.

My arm is sore and I’m a bit achy, but otherwise I’m ok.

Science is an amazing thing.
