Things are happening and changing fast over here. Feel like I haven’t been posting and updating as much as I’d like, but sometimes real life just gets in the way. I can’t believe today is the 1st of September. I really want to be back in school this time of year. I’ve always felt like that come September and I wonder if it will ever go away. Going to finish up my PR certificate this year and want to transfer my Humber credits to Ryerson. Debating about taking a night school class or continue to do it online.
Got new hair last week. I wanted to do something different and change my look without loosing the pink so Matt at Brennen Demelo cut bangs. I really love having bangs and I can’t even remember the last time I had them.
Made a big decision today about my agency and it’s going to change the way my business runs. Can’t wait to share it with you all. Scary but exciting at the same time.
Made my 1st ever iTunes purchase today – KO’s “Let’s Blaze”. Then got the chance to interview him for another little project I’m working on. Been listening to his songs on YouTube since Wakestock and now have the whole album. It’s really good and I like everything on it. Nothing that I would skip. Favourite songs are Kurt Cobain, Capable (the current single) and Good Man, Bad Man. Super talented dude and was a pretty chill interview.
Got to see Chad last week when he played the Rockstar Uproar Festival at the Molson Ampitheatre. He surprised me by picking me up with his manager and then telling me he had the whole next day off in T.O. Soo happy to see him and get to hang backstage with everyone. Got to go on the bus when the rain came. It was cool to see, but I couldn’t live on it for months. 12 boys on a bus for 8 weeks or something like that. This is the final song of their set.
Love having so many positive women in my life right now. Really needed a good girl boost and Casie, Kathryn, Rhianne & Carri are the best. Love you girls. Oh and Lyla too – she’s been brightening the beginning of my week and it’s pretty fun to have a 3 year old around. Funny to see her growing up and trying to use the same thing we did as kids.
Gotta keep working and will probably have a late night. Interview to write up, proposal to start and then taking it easy and getting a good nights sleep.

On Nov 25 Krista and I got on the Go Train to meet Tonya in Pickering for mid-week girls night out to see Hail The Villain play at the Red Dog in Peterborough. It always makes me feel a little anxious when I go there. Lots of good times happened when I lived in Ptbo, but lots of bad times happened as well. As soon as we hit Tapley 1/4 Line the anxiety set in. It’s so nice to see my friends that still live there, but I always feel like I have to look over my shoulder in case someone sketchy shows up.
We went straight to Rhi’s to see Lyla and Tommy and she made Salmon for dinner. I tried really hard to eat it but I just can’t do fish. Then we took some travellers of wine for he walk down to Splinkys (can’t remember the real name but that’s what I was calling it) to meet up with some of our friends.

Lyall showed up for a drink and I was pretty happy about it. Lyall is one of my all-time favourite people and we’ve had some pretty interesting times over the years. You are one of few people I know that look good with a big beard.

Randomly enough a magician named Luke Farley was at the bar. I met him at my sisters You Might As Well Live after party HERE back in August and he recognized me, even with the pink hair. He was showing us some pretty awesome card tricks and even taught us how to do one.

Yay! Brienne and Danielle showed up to say hi and have a few drinks. I don’t get to see B as much as I like and I kept getting happier and happier the more people I ran into.

Brienne’s boyfriend Paul is way bigger than all of us. He can play a mean guitar and we have been known to break out into Bon Jovi songs while drinking. So happy to see you guys!
Hail the Villain didn’t end up playing til about midnight and we were all a little ridiculous at this point. They played a good show and I ran into one of my old friends Dan at the bar. We did a Jager shot and it was my first one in over a year. I took it like a champ and didn’t get retarded or hungover from it. Is Jager back in my shot repetoire?
