I love day planners and was on the hunt for my perfect planner for 2016. I purchased 18 month Happy Planner in Gold Foil Dots because of the beautiful pages and inspiring quotes. Alas, I am a “day per page” kind of girl and I thought I’d be able to get away with a the “week per page” because of the size, but I have too many To Do’s to fit.
I haven’t used it and it’s such a pretty little book, so I thought I should give it away to one of you!
Covers – 7.75” x 9.75” Pages – 7” x 9.25”
So, if you’re looking for a great planner that is full of inspiration and happiness, please share your favourite inspiring quote in the comments below (or on this post on FB/Twitter) to enter.
The winner will be chosen this Friday, April 1st at 11:00am.
Thank you so much to everyone for sharing your Christmas memories with me. It was very heartwarming to read your comments and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Congratulations to commenter #6 Terry Mac
“My best holiday memory was the birth of my second child 2 days before Christmas. Because it was Christmas, I was allowed home early. We had just moved from BC to Ontario, and it was my first winter with snow. And what a winter it was….blizzard so severe we had to be rescued from our hobby farm. Power was out for a week, so everyone in the area stayed at one farmhouse heated by an ancient wood stove. New mother in a new circumstance, we got to know our neighbours very well! 6 families with a total of almost 10 kids of all ages came together in this crisis. One big happy family!!! One holiday season I will never forget, nor my daughter.”
Please send me your mailing address to carly at carlyanne.com and we’ll get it sent right out!

Last Thursday I was invited to a super cool JELL-O party, but I ended up getting out of the city to beat the heat and had a pool party with some girls and Mom & Dad’s and didn’t get out of the pool in time!
At this awesome event they showcased some crazy new ways to use JELL-O to make treats you would never have thought of! There were JELL-O cookies, JELL-O cake, JELL-O pudding cups and even JELL-O slices!
Click HERE for the scrumptious looking and sounding recipes.
I was sorry that we didn’t get back in time but my amazing friends at Edelman and JELL-O decided that we wouldn’t have to miss out and have offered up not 1, but 3 JELL-O gift baskets to give to you guys!
All you have to do to enter is leave a comment here on my blog telling me a great JELL-O memory you have, whether a cool recipe, a funny story or anything you can think of. I’ll pick the 3 winners by random draw on Wednesday June 27 at 12:00pm (noon) and you’ll get a gift basket sent to your door.
The giveaway is open to any Canadian resident (sorry to you guys that are out of Canada – I’m planning another giveaway in the near future open to EVERYONE!)
I hope you are all enjoying your Monday so far. I’ve got one full week of non-anxiety vacation before I start my exciting new job. Who wants to do summer fun this week?
How many times can I write JELL-O in one post!! LOL
UPDATE: since I’m out shopping I’ve decided to extend the contest deadline to 5pm EST today.
When Nature Clean asked me to be a part of their sampling program and try out their new Pure Nourishment shampoo & conditioner and Refresh soap I said yes right away. I’m a fan of their cleaning products and had no idea they made beauty products as well. Nature Clean is a Canadian, third generation, family run company that makes non-toxic alternatives to household products and that is my favourite kind of brand. I’ve been making a conscious effort lately to replace products with greener versions and I hate that there are so many different chemicals in beauty products. I also like to use Canadian made products as much as possible.
The shampoo & conditioner are both 98% natural ingredients and have no parabens, sulphates and phthalates and I really like them both. It acts like a homemade shampoo
and doesn’t lather which I found hard to get used to at first, but it leaves your hair nice and clean feeling without a residue. The conditioner goes on smooth and it makes my hair feel soft and clean. I’ve had to use a deep conditioner a couple times because I kinda fried the ends of my hair by dying it twice in a week, but otherwise have used the Nature Clean exclusively. I haven’t had a chance to try the soap yet but it smells amazing. I’ll be reviewing all the products on my ChickAdvisor
profile and will Tweet/FB when they’re up.
They also sent me a bunch of 60mL bottles of shampoo and conditioner to give away to family and friends and I’ve got 10 packs to give away to you guys. For this giveaway you have to live in Canada, sorry guys, but I can’t send stuff like this over the border. If you want one all you have to do is leave a comment on this post and tell me if you have ever tried a Nature Clean product before. There’s no wrong answer and the first 10 people to comment will win 🙂
Also, if you’d like to share your opinion on the products, you can send me a write up and I’ll post it on my blog 🙂
