Show & Tell: Feb 03/11
This week has been crazy busy with moving and unpacking. Yesterday we got a brand new mattress & boxspring from Sears and had the best sleep ever last night. I didn’t want to get out of bed this morning at all. It’s a pain in the butt not being able to find things yet but I’m going to spend the whole weekend unpacking and organizing so come help! I also lost my computer this morning because I put it on a shelf in the closet where it would be safe and I would remember where I left it. Haha. Took me about 10 minutes of frantic searching before I remembered.
I’ve got to get out the door so I’ll make it to the office on time so here are your Show & Tell links for the week.
Hope you all have a great weekend and seriously come help me unpack!
- I missed this post from Brian (Thorny Bleeder) Thompson’s DIY Daily and caught in in Alan Cross’ site. It’s a great opinion piece entitled “I Don’t Want To Own Music, I Want To Listen To Music“
- Have you seen the latest in office productivity? Check out The Ostrich – so ridiculous
- I’m not a huge Star Trek fan but this custom Star Trek Enterprise coffee table is out of this world!
- I’ve been reading Letters of Note lately and it’s a pretty interesting site. This letter from March of 1973 by E. B. White — the author of such books as Stuart Little and Charlotte’s Web — in response to a letter from a Mr. Nadeau, who sought his opinion on what he saw as a bleak future for the human race.
“As long as there is one upright man, as long as there is one compassionate woman, the contagion may spread and the
scene is not desolate.“ - This made the rounds a week or so ago but anyone who has no idea what the Facebook Terms of Service mean might appreciate it The Entire Facebook Terms of Service in Bro Speak
- Babes On RollerSkates – you’re welcome
- Finnish graphic design student Jirka Vaatainen is making realistic, life-like depictions of female cartoon characters from Disney films.
- Go to Hate and Heartbreak and shop online to your hearts content!
- Full Tool concert video from their stop in Reno on Jan 14/12. I’m sooo sad I missed out on seeing them in Toronto. Tool is AMAZING live and thanks to this guy who filmed the ENTIRE SHOW!!
