Raw Juice Guru Blogger Challenge Wrap Up

Yesterday was my final day of the Raw Juice Guru Blogger Challenge and I felt better than I did on Day 2 (Wednesday). I was delivered a modified cleanse that incorporated raw food (salads) into it and it really made a difference.

Juice 1
Romaine, spinach, parsley, lemon cucumber, apple
Juice 2
Orange, grapefruit, lemon
Juice 3
Wheatgrass, pineapple
Salad 1
Kale, Pear, Sesame Seeds & lemon juice
Juice 4
Carrot, beet, apple, lemon
Juice 5
Pineapple, coconut water
Juice 6
Pineapple, wheatgrass
Salad 2
Zucchini, carrot, poppy seeds and pesto dressing

The juices were sweeter than the previous ones, which I enjoyed more. The salads were fairly plain but good and it was a lot of food (yay!)

I didn’t feel as tired or lethargic as the previous day but I still had a bit of a headache. Around 2pm pm I crashed, felt dizzy and hungry so I decided to skip ahead and eat my second salad. It was good and helped but around 330pm I crashed again and was hungry and dizzy so I went out and got a banana and a hard boiled egg. This seemed to set me straight and I drank my last two juices and had a great evening.

I weighed myself this morning and I’m at 107 lbs. Not a huge difference but I wasn’t hoping to lose any weight.

I’m glad that I tried the  Juice & Raw Food Cleanse. It was a great learning experience and I think I will incorporate more raw juice into my diet. It definitely gave me a different perspective on clean eating and though I love my pasta and my sandwiches on bread I’m going to try and be more conscious of what I eat!

Thank you to the team at Raw Juice Guru for providing me with the opportunity. It was definitely an interesting and memorable experience.
