Last year I tried out a couple different organic produce delivery services and my top pick was Front Door Organics. We didn’t use the service over the summer (and hit up the local farmers markets instead) but have been getting the produce delivery since November.
I am always impressed with the quality and quantity of items in my delivery and the service is impeccable. Janet and Felicia are fantastic and quick to respond to my queries and I really appreciate the effort they put out.
We get the Basic Fresh Box for $37 on a bi-weekly basis, which seems to be long enough for us to eat all (most) of the produce. It’s cut down my grocery shopping trips and expenses. We buy out meat from our local butcher Meat On The Beach and any canned goods, dairy or dry goods from Loblaws or No Frills (I’m particular to Presidents Choice and No Name products). Overall it makes my life a heck of a lot easier because I get to try out produce that I wouldn’t usually buy and they send recipes with each box.
Here is my Basic Fresh Box for the week of Jan 06, 2014
