As part of my New Years Resolutions I want to eat healthier, local and organic as much as possible. I’m also trying to find restaurants that would fit with this new years resolution, something like Oolaa Restaurant to start I believe will do the trick for now. I’ve been dying to try out the Organic Food Delivery services in Toronto but couldn’t decide on which one to go with. So I figured I might as well test them all out and pick the one I like best.
I will be trying out the Regular size basket for each service (approx value $35) and will not make any changes or substitutions. I’m going to have 1 box delivered every 2 weeks and of course will share my experience with you!
On Monday January 21st I got my very first delivery from Front Door Organics, the BASIC Fresh Box™, which was $37 including tax & delivery.
They sent a copy of their newsletter containing some yummy recipes – Lightly Stewed Black Kale with Potatoes, Chickpeas, Olives & Lemon and Warm Rice Salad with Roasted Squahs & Carmelized Onions. Both things I would never in my life think to make!
