Wherever you are today and whatever you are doing, please stop and take a minute to think about everyone who has fought and sacrificed their life so that we could grow up in a free country. One where women can vote, multiculturalism is alive and well and accepted, where we don’t have the threat of war in our streets and that we have never known some of the hardships of generations past.
Thank you to my grandparents and family members who have joined the service and fought in past wars and thank you to those of you who dedicate your lives to this day to protecting our country and helping fight for those that cannot. Thank you soldiers and military families past and present and to those who will grow up to join our Military to continue to fight for peace and freedom.
I will never forget what you have done for us and I am forever grateful for the life that I have.
